Calamagrostis x acutiflora ‘Karl Foerster’ is a tall growing upright grass which adds strong vertical lines in to a garden. Growing up to 180cm tall, it can be used as an attractive hedge or living screen. It flowers early in the season and the seed heads last a long time. As it is a hybrid no seed is produced. Like a lot of grasses, it can handle wet conditions well, but is also able to tolerate dry conditions.
