The plume poppy is one of the most startling foliage plants for any large garden. It features very large sculpted leaves that are topped in summer with misty sprays of beige flowers. The plume poppy is a member of the poppy family from China. It is herbaceous and very frost tolerant. Chose their position carefully as they spread underground and can take over. The rate of spread can be controlled by removing unwanted rhizomes in late winter/early spring.
