An uncommon herbaceous species of Phlomis known as the Greek Jerusalem Sage, is native to south east Europe and south west Asia. In its native habitat it grows in Pine and Cedar forests. I have found it to be very tough and drought tolerant although to maximise the flowering, it appreciates an occasional drink over the warmer months. The whorls of dusky pink are beautiful and attractive, even after flowering. H 120cm W 40cm
