Digitalis lanata - Greek Foxglove
The Grecian Foxglove is endemic to Italy, Hungary, Turkey and The Balkans and is very adaptable in most garden situations. This plant forms a rosette of dark green leaves from which emerges spires of fawn flowers with darker brown veins and a white lip. It has received the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. Like all foxgloves the leaves are toxic so care should be taken.
