Eleagnus pungens

An excellent and relatively fast growing large shrub that makes an hedging plant. The leaves are grey greenand feature a lighter underside which is enhanced by the lighter green new growth. Small highly fragrant cream flowers are produced in spring.

Very tough and adaptable it tolerates drought, heat, frost, wind and salt.
