Aster x frikartii 'Monch'

Aster x frikartii 'Monch' is an excellent perennial performer in the garden. It forms a floriferous bush to to 90cm tall and wide. The dark foliage is topped with and yellow-centred, lavender-blue daisies 5cm across. It has achieved the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. It needs a bit of summer water to thrive, but flowers for much longer than other asters with significantly bigger flowers. Loved by bees, this is worthy of a place in any perennial garden.
