Dierama pulcherrimum - Dark Cerise Angel Fishing Rods

The Angel fishing rods are a truly wonderful old fashioned plant producing arching pendulous stems of bells that emerge from grass like foliage. While they are native to South Africa, they originate from damp grasslands and flower best with some summer moisture.  While they are hardy as mature plants down to -12 degrees, they should be protected from frosts in the first year.
