Bergenia cordifolia - 'Red Beauty'

Red Beauty Bergenia features unusual spikes of rose flowers with red eyes which emerge from red flower buds. The flower stems arising above the foliage from early to mid spring. Its attractive large succulent oval leaves are forest green in colour. As an added bonus, the foliage turns a gorgeous dark red in the Autumn. Most effective when mass planted as a groundcover or used as an edging along a walkway.
