Phlomis lanata - 'Dwarf Jerusalem Sage'

Phlomis lanata has been around for a little while in Australia but I imported some seed of this great hardy little shrub and grew the offspring, from which I selected the most robust, compact and floriferous plant. Forming a tight shrub to 45cm, Phlomis lanata has small rounded leaves and produces a mass or flowers from Spring through Autumn. I have this growing in the hardest, driest part of the garden and it has sailed through the Summer.
