Lonicera fragrantissima - Winter Flowering Honeysuckle
The Winter Flowering Honeysuckle is a treasure in the garden. In late winter the partially bare branches are progressively covered with small creamy white flowers. The flowers, while not startling to look at do produce the most heavenly perfume that fills the garden. Left unchecked it will form an arching shrub up to 2 m tall which can be clipped in to an informal hedge.
