Liatris spicata - Floristan Violet Blazing Star

These versatile North American prairie perennials are a spectacular addition to any flower bed. They make a wonderful display in Summer when the dense spikes of violet pink flowers shoot skyward from the bright green grass like leaves. An excellent cut flower. Requires a bit of water in summer but need a well drained soil.
