Cistus x purpureus - 'Brilliancy' Rock Rose
Cistus Brilliancy lives up to its name when it flowers in late spring/early summer. The bush is covered with magenta flowers accented with a burgundy blotch at the base of each of the 5 petals. The flowers are large for this genus, each over 5cm in diameter. This rock rose is as tough as they come, loves full sun and happy with summer dry. the foliage adds a nice balsam scent to the garden on hot days.
