Centaurea bella - Caucasian Cornflower
A beautiful ground covering perennial cornflower from the Caucus (Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan) that forms dense, weed suppressing mats of divided grey-green foliage. Throughout Summer, this plant produces feathery lavender pink flowers Happy in most soils and prefers full sun. Very tough - drought tolerant and frost tolerant to -12 degrees.
