Sedum spectabile - 'Autumn Joy'

Autumn Joy is the classic and best-known sedum, growing 40cm tall and topped with light pink flowers that age to brown via red. Very hardy and very attractive. While Autumn Joy is herbaceous and dies down in winter, I like to leave the brown stems and flower head through winter as a great feature with the straw-coloured Miscanthus seed heads.
